Urban Craft Contracting WLL applies microcement to floors, walls, bathrooms and furniture across Bahrain. It gives villas, apartments, restaurants, showrooms and offices a smooth, seamless surface with a modern, natural look.

Helpful Microcement Guides

Microcement FAQs

What is microcement?

Microcement is a thin, cement-based decorative coating applied by hand in layers and sealed for protection. It creates a seamless, natural-looking surface with no grout lines.

Where can microcement be used?

Floors, walls, bathrooms and showers, kitchen counters, stairs, fireplaces and built-in furniture, indoors and in suitable covered outdoor areas.

Can microcement go over existing tiles?

In many cases yes, provided the tiles are firmly bonded and the surface is properly prepared. We check this during the site visit, because loose or hollow tiles must be fixed first.

Is microcement waterproof?

Microcement is not a waterproofing membrane on its own. In bathrooms and wet areas it is applied over a proper waterproofing system and finished with a protective sealer.

How do I clean microcement?

Use a pH neutral cleaner and a soft mop or cloth, and avoid harsh acids and abrasive pads. The sealer can be refreshed over time to keep the finish protected.

How much does microcement cost in Bahrain?

The cost depends on the area, the surface, whether it is a floor, wall or wet area, and the finish. Read our microcement cost guide, then book a free site visit for an exact quote.

Microcement or epoxy, which is better?

Microcement suits homes and design-led spaces. Epoxy is stronger for industrial and heavy-traffic floors. Our comparison guide explains the difference.
